” Govt Stands Ready to Support your Ideas,” Says Youth Minister At ‘My Nigerian Dream 4.0’
Minister for Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande has reiterated the readiness of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration to support creative young people to realize their fullest potential.
The Minister gave the assurance at the 4th edition of ‘My Nigerian Dream – 30 Point of Light’ organized by the I Choose Life Foundation, which held at Silverbird Cinema, Abuja
Olawande, while delivering his address, commended the organizers for birthing such a wonderful initiative that showcases, rewards, and also promotes young Nigerians who are doing excellently well in Innovation, Tech, Community Development, Sport, Entertainment, Agriculture, and other sectors.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Youth Development will continue to support creatives, especially young people, whose efforts align with the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Olawande also charged young people, especially those in the informal sector, to draw inspiration from the 30 Nigerians who were awarded at the event, and to use their stories as major source of strength and encouragement.
“I want to use this medium to call on all Nigerian youth, especially those in the informal sector, to draw inspiration from the 30 points of Light. We must channel our energy towards achieving greatness.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration is ready to support the creativity of every young Nigerian as long as it adds value to the public and the country at large. Our doors are open, please bring ideas and we will surely support you,” the Minister submitted.
Olawande also used the occasion to call for tech opportunities for the girl child, noting that the girl child must be protected and encouraged to join the IT industry, considering their tenacity and creativity.
