A Third person has broken the Guiness World Record for the Longest Cooking Marathon on the space of one year.
Ugandan Chef Dorcus Mirembe, popularly known as Mama D broke the record set by the Irish Chef, Alan Fisher, in November.
The Irish man cooked for nearly 120 hours.
Mama D’s current cooking time is 124 hours and counting.
The Ugandan Chef iis still cooking and plans to cook till the new year.
If she succeeds, she would have cooked non-stop for days.
In May this year Nigerian born Chef Hilda Baci, cooked for 93 hours, 11 minutes. Then Irish man, Alan Fisher dethroned her in November.
Though Mama D, the Ugandan Chef, has broken Fisher’s record, her status as the Longest Cooking Marathon record holder will not be official until she is certified by the Guiness World Record.
