A devastating attack occurred in Sha village of Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, on Monday at approximately, resulting in the loss of three lives.
The Chairman Bokkos Local Government Council, Honourable Amalau Samuel, confirmed the incident and expressed his deep concern over the senseless violence as six individuals injured during the attack are currently receiving medical attention in Bokkos.
Amalau condemned the attack, stating that it deeply disheartening and unacceptable, urging security agencies to take swift action in apprehending and prosecuting the perpetrators.
Emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and harmony, Amalau called on residents to unite and protect their shared heritage assuring that the local government is collaborating with security agencies to prevent future occurrences.
