The Federal University Gusau, FUGUS, in Zamfara State, has disassociated itself from claims by the sacked Vice- Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Bernard Odoh, asserting that he was never employed as a Professor at the institution.
In an emergency press conference on Thursday, the Vice-Chancellor of FUGUS, Professor Mua’zu Abubakar, clarifies that Odoh has never served as a Professor at the Federal University of Gusau nor did the University ever employ him.
Abubakar explains that letters allegedly showing Odoh’s appointment and confirmation as a Professor dated April 30th, 2015, and November 12th, 2015 are products of administrative fraud.
