The newly built Anambra State International Airport has been officially launched today by the Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano Saturday 30th October 2021.
Governor Willie Obiano appreciates the government of President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the airport to be operational.
He also thanked the aviation minister and others.
Obiano said that Although the Airport is being launched today, flights are not yet allowed to land at the airport until check-in counters are duly completed.
History has been made, the dream we have all nurtured for 30 years has finally come true today – Obiano
