In spite, its numerous pitfalls, challenges and side outcomes, democracy is still the widely accepted form of governance globally.
In Nigeria, we have had and are still having our own share of these demanding situations in our nascent democracy, but we cannot trade it for some other form of governance. Instead, we will build on our successes and make our brand of leadership work.
As Nigerians take a breather from work to celebrate Democracy, we join millions of our nationals to rejoice too. We believe strongly that with perseverance, hard work, harmony and a dint of divine mercy we will navigate our numerous socio-political and economic, political and religious upheavals.
Nigeria shall be great and superb once more and take its rightful place in the comity of nations.
