Happy Mothers Day from 9News Nigeria

Motherhood is one remarkable gift from our Creator to us. From conception to labour and delivery, a mother is the first person to feel the preciousness of a brand new life. It entails that ‘wow’ moment of conception, the rhythmic journey of pregnancy and the consoling joy of seeing firsthand the terrestrial beginning of a brand new human.

Then comes the years of nursing, weaning, watching and constantly correcting till the child finally blossoms into the adult some of us have become. Yet its tenderness never fades, always guiding and protecting till we eventually meet the Lord.

For some like me who have been fortunate to have mothers both at home and in church, we heartily join all well-meaning people globally to celebrate YOU for being a great blessing.
