Just In: Two NSUK Students Feared Dead, Others Battling For Life In Stampede For Palliative Provided By The State Government.

At least two students of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) have been reportedly trampled to death while struggling to enter institution’s convocation square the venue of today’s distribution of palliative designed to cushion the effect of subsidy removal in the country.

The fatal stampede on Friday also left several other students and supposed beneficiaries of the palliative worth millions of naira provided by the State Government in critical condition and battling for their lives.

The State Governor Abdullahi Sule had recently flagged off the distribution of 2 bags of 7.5kg rice and N5,000 each as palliative to students of the state tertiary institutions.
