The Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Francis Nwaze has said that the Debt Management Office of Nigeria which declared Ebonyi state as the second least domestic indebted state across the 36 states of Nigeria as of December 31st, 2021, three months ago has proved his principal, David Nweze Umahi right.
Nwaze made this known in a statement made available to 9News Nigeria on Tuesday.
According to the statement, “while we do not need to say otherwise to an all-embracing analysis of Debt Management experts like the DMO, we simply echo the assessment.”
“This is because the rating by the credible Financial Regulation umpire is simply the true reflection of the integrity that has underlined the administration of Governor David Nweze Umahi since coming onboard in 2015.”
“Since the coming onboard of Governor David Umahi’s administration in 2015, no day has gone by without activities ranging from construction of gigantic economic viable projects, empowerments, payment of workers, security of lives and property, and lots more.”
“Within this period of about 7 years, the best of its kind medical university, an international market, a brand new Government House, Waste to wealth recycling plant, more than 600 roads, Christian Ecumenical Center, 23 flyovers, a first of its kind Shopping Mall, industrial clusters, etc, have all been constructed.”
“Currently, the State is carrying out construction of an International Airport in Ebonyi State, irrespective of the lean IGR and federal allocation, Ebonyi State still maintained the second least domestic indebted state.”
“One would wonder how Umahi does his magic, the reason people keep asking if there is a money-printing machine in Ebonyi but Umahi has on several occasions declared that he will not be leaving debt for the next administration safe for the already existing debt which was not borrowed in his time and it is currently being serviced.”
“Umahi thinks future and not immediate, he is truly proving divinity, the reason behind his divine mandate slogan, a man on a rescue mission. In the eyes of the people, one would ordinarily think his many strides are impossible but for ‘David’ nothing is not possible for the betterment of his people of which he is their number one servant.”
“It is glaring that Umahi is doing wonders in Ebonyi, deserves accolades and not a distraction but haters of the ongoing transformation in Ebonyi State will not align with this truth, they want to destabilize Ebonyi State, they don’t want Umahi to step up to his next level, they are not at peace with his political sagacity, his fast-rising profile and massive love by the masses. They want to possibly turn off the shining light but if man is to be God, David would have lost in his battle.”
“It is time – time to step up and take over, no sleeping on duty, Governor David Umahi is your Governor, our Governor, and Gods willing, our incoming President. For he has proven to be trusted with the little and he deserves the next level.”
