The Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro on Saturday, stated that his ascension to the Office he occupies was the handiwork of God.
Otuaro said he never at any day contemplated becoming a Deputy Governor, noting that God gave him a revelation in 2015 in his sleep to get ready for “documentation” stressing that he was at first reluctant.
Otuaro also added that he was given the revelation for the second time before he obeyed.
Otuaro made the assertion at the 21st Ijaw Day of Prayer, Praise&Thanksgiving organized by the Delta State Chapter of Izon Christian Fellowship in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area.
According to him,”My ascension to the post of Deputy Governor is the handiwork of God. I had never at anytime want to be but God did it.”
“God break protocols. It is because of God’s wisdom in some of our traditional, religious and political leaders that come together to lift up their holy hands in praising God.”
Otuaro also said that it was challenging for the Ijaw man to hold himself out in time past.
He boasted that the Ijaw Nation has the most refined and brilliant men in Nigeria today.
Otuaro noted that the Ijaw nation has made significant progress in Christendom, politics and other strides of life.
“There’s a paradigm shift without recourse to earthly protocols.”
