South African hip-hop artiste, Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, popularly known as Nasty C, has revealed that he was inspired by many Nigerian rappers and Ghanaian superstar Sakordie.
Nasty C further said he was also inspired by rap artists in his home country like the late AKA and Cassper Nyovest.
“My pioneers for hip-hop in Africa in no order are M.I, Sakordie, Olamide, Phyno, AKA, Cassper, Naeto C… There’s so many.”
He made this known in a podcast interview with Afrozons.
