Governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Chukwuma Soludo has stated that the rift between him and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi is purely political and not personal.
Soludo who spoke at the marking of the 70th birthday anniversary of the Bishop of Awka Catholic Diocese, His Grace, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor at St. Patrick Cathedral Parish, Awka, yesterday insisted that Obi remained his brother irrespective of their political differences.
Soludo had in an article titled: ‘History beckons and I will not be silent,’ de-marketed Peter Obi’s presidential ambition in the 2023 general election stating that he would not win; that Obi was merely on a political jamboree.
But in his speech at Most Rev. Ezeokafor’s birthday anniversary thanksgiving mass, Soludo stated that he would soon meet with Obi so that both of them would iron out their political differences which he said was essentially political.
