Kebbi State Governor Mohammed Nasir Idris has vowed to sign the death warrant of any convicted informant aiding bandits with in 24 hours of conviction.
The Governor disclosed this during a condolence visit to Zogirma community in Bunza Local Government Area, where Lakurawa killed three police officers in recent attack.
Govermor Idris condemned all informants collaborating with criminal elements for petty gain, stating,”They deserve capital punishment and should not live among us.
“I will not hesitate to sign their death warrants. I don’t support life imprisonment for such individuals”
“We will do everything humanly possible to ensure our citizens sleep both eyes closed. Security remains our top priority,and will not treat it with levity”, Idris said.
