A man whose name was not clearly disclosed was said to have posted this picture on Facebook with this caption
“I Won’t Pay Hospital Bills, This Child Is Too Ugly To Be Mine.” According to the story, the man was called that his pregnant wife has given birth to a baby boy, but on seeing the new born baby at the hospital, the man said that the baby was too ugly to be his biological child and that he would not be paying for the hospital bill.
Since it was not clear who the originator of the picture and the story behind it was, 9News Nigeria reporter embarked on fishing out the source of the story and found out that the story trended on social media since last year (2020) and according to the chronological appearance of the picture and the statement on social media, it was published on Nadia Buhari‘s Facebook timeline.
9News Nigeria therefore could not finalise the authenticity of the posting, the picture nor the origin.
