Kaduna Senator in the 10th National Assembly, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman has declared that he would never join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking on Tuesday, the lawmaker expressed gratitude to God for his political journey so far, stressing that his principles would not allow him to consider membership of the APC.

“I will rather quit politics than join APC. I am grateful to Almighty Allah for what He has done for me,” Senator Usman said.

His remarks follows ongoing speculation about possible defections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
