Madam Eunice Uchenwa Uwakwe, has passed on at the age of 72.

Madam Uwakwe is the mother-in-law of Emeh James Anyalekwa, the founder of IgbereTV, a platform known for its commitment to delivering news with integrity.

Family sources confirmed the development to us on Monday, November 20th. Late Madam Uwakwe, the mother of Mrs Esther Chidinma Emeh, wife of IgbereTV Chairman, passed on after a brief illness at an undisclosed hospital in Owerri, capital of Imo state.

Speaking on the unfortunate loss, tearful Emeh said; “My mother-in-law was not just a family member; she was a pillar of strength and kindness. The void left by Mrs. Uwakwe’s passing is felt deeply and her legacy will forever resonate in our hearts. May Mama’s soul find repose in the bosom of our Lord. Amen!”.

Anyalekwa further prayed God to grant both the Uwakwe and Emeh families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Further information gathered revealed that funeral arrangements are underway, and details about the funeral arrangements will be shared as soon as they are available.

Emeh James, known for his dedication to excellence in journalism now faces the personal challenge of bidding farewell to a beloved family member. The thoughts and prayers of the IgbereTV community are with him and his family as they navigate this difficult time.
