Former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ike Ibe, has expressed deep concern over Nigeria’s deteriorating economic situation.
Speaking on Friday, Ibe lamented that despite Nigeria’s abundant natural and human resources, citizens are increasingly grappling with poverty, hunger and trauma.
“It has never been this worse in Nigeria,” he said, describing the current situation as one that demands urgent attention from both leaders and the general populace.
The former governorship candidate urged citizens and stakeholders to look inward and make better decisions that could positively shape the nation’s trajectory.
“There’s a lot we can do as citizens,” he emphasized.
