The leadership and members of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Indigenes in Abuja forum felicitates Mrs. Emem Nnana Usoro on her appointment as a Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria by President Bola Tinubu.
Usoro started her career as a branch manager at the Defunct Bank PHB between 2004 and 2007 and a Zonal head from 2007 until 2009 when she was made the Regional Executive of Victoria Island Region of the bank. In 2010, she joined the United Bank for Africa serving judiciously as the Regional Head of the Akwa-Ibom and Abuja Branch from 2010 to 2013. While working with UBA, her dedication and commitment earned her top managerial positions in the bank and subsequently the Executive Director of the bank in 2022. In September, 2023, she was appointed Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Mrs. Usoro is proudly an alumna of the prestigious Immaculate Girls Secondary School, Itak, Ikono, and the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Indigenes in Abuja forum is proud of her elevation. Her accomplishment brings pride to everyone of us, and we have no doubt that she will serve with distinction in this important role.
