Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has formally denied plans to leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stating clearly, “I’m a PDP man”.
He made the remarks after a closed-door meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja on Friday.
According to Governor Mohammed, the discussions were focused on governance issues and security collaboration, particularly how the federal government and states can work together more effectively.
He emphasized that the meeting should not be interpreted as a political realignment or defection move.
His statement comes amid ongoing political speculation about potential party defections and shifting alliances ahead of future elections.
