Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has revealed that he has no plans to marry a Nigerian woman, despite having two children with a former partner.
Speaking in an interview with 3ple E Nolly TV, Anuku, whose first marriage ended in separation, admitted that he remains fearful of Nigerian women and does not feel obligated to marry his children’s mother.
“I don’t want to get married to any Nigerian… She has two kids for me doesn’t mean I have to marry her… I’m scared of Nigerian women,” he stated.
Anuku, known for his roles in classic Nollywood action films, has lived a private life in recent years.
His comments have sparked discussions about relationships, marriage expectations, and cultural perspectives on commitment.
Despite remaining single after his marriage broke down, the actor has not ruled out the possibility of marriage entirely but appears cautious about it.
