The Imo State House of Assembly IMHA has passed a deserving vote of explicit confidence on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR because of his highly rated Renewed Hope Agenda cum developmental economic policy framework.
Deputy speaker, RT Hon Chyna Amara Iwuanyanwu at a vote of thanks in the hallow chamber of Imo State House of Assembly, Wednesday, moved the motion for the Honourable members IMHA to adopt the vote of confidence haven reeled out the tremendous work executed by President Bola Tinubu in his few years of office as the president and commander in chief of the armed forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In his presentation, Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu added that Governor Hope Uzodinma be voted same as well as the number one leading political party in the state, the All Progressives Congress.
It is obvious that Governor Hope Uzodinma CON, attracted the vote of confidence by his quality leadership in the state coupled with developmental strides and unwavering policy plan that have attracted tremendous changes in Imo state , since his assumption as Governor.
In the same direction, Rt Hon Deputy Speaker IMHA, Amara Iwuanyanwu added that same vote of confidence be accorded to the All Progressives Congress APC party across the Federation for the Uniting tempo established to bring onboard huge notable politicians across zones and states of the Federation to join APC.
Governor Hope Uzodinma’s Tuesday’s presentation tagged, “Our New Imo Is Here” is an exposition of the unknown strides from the known tremendous development policy plan already executed across the senatorial zones of the state as 9News Nigeria reports.
Speaking, Governor Uzodinma said, “Today , I have come before you – the elected representatives of the people -to present the stewardship of our administration over the past one and half years of my second tenure. In recognition of the significance of this State of State Address, I have invited key stakeholders to also be in attendance. This gives them a chance to be able to independently assess our performance “.
“By this act, I would also have kept my promise to remain accountable to the people of Imo State, with whose mandate I serve as Governor. I have always considered this a sacred mandate and I will never take it for granted “.
“Let me also use this address as another opportunity to thank the people of Imo state for their steadfast support over the last five and half years . Even in the face of deliberate provocation and misinformation by detractors, you stood firm in your support”.
9News Nigeria captured Governor Uzodinma stating that his administration began from rebuilding effort with the civil service and critical road infrastructure within the Owerri capital city targetted at establishing a functional civil service and motorable roads to improve commerce, public mobility and administrative efficiency in Imo State Nigeria.
Shared Prosperity administration captured critical areas of development which included a full scale rehabilitation and renovation of the state Secretariat, Automation of civil service operations to improving efficiency and stamping out fraud.
Governor Uzodinma’s administration also did a lot on dualization of roads, work in progress at the new international conference center, Owerri, Renovation of IMHA complex.
Governor Uzodinma’s performance score card captured so many sectors, like, Education, Health, Sports, Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Digital Economy and E-Governance, Light Up Imo Project, Sound Fiscal Base, Imo- Cares Initiative, Housing, Transport, Agriculture, Environment, Lands, Information, Local Government Elections, ongoing Dredging of Orashi River, Assumpta Flyover, Sam Mbakwe International Airport, Security and Judiciary.
At the plenary, Rt Hon Majority Leader, Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi (Egbe) performed very creditable in his legislative function and moderated the house accordingly.
In his official capacity as the majority leader IMHA, Kanayo Onyemaechi presented the motion to admit the governor of Imo State, His Excellency Dr Hope Uzodinma CON and his entourage into the chamber.
The admission of his Excellency Dr Uzodinma was approved without delay which led to the presentation of address by the Hon Speaker IMHA, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe.
No doubt, it was a long session of plenary held at the IMHA chamber, Tuesday which later led to comments and reactions by few Honourable members present at the sitting.
Deputy speaker, Amara Iwuanyanwu on his vote of thanks added a deserving aura to the visit of the governor to the IMHA chamber this Tuesday afternoon , as 9News Nigeria reports.
On the existing premise, Deputy speaker, moved a motion of vote of implicit confidence on both the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the Imo State Governor His Excellency Dr Hope Uzodinma CON alongside the APC party, supported by the minority leader Hon Amuchie Princewill, okayed and i’sed by the Honourable members.
The highlight of the plenary was a “State Of The State Address” presented by Governor Hope Uzodinma which captured tremendous calculated versed areas of visible facts to the state, regarding his unwavering achievements, development strategy, policy plan and prudent financial management in the barely 2yrs administrative score card of his second tenure as presented.
Towards the closure of the Plenary , Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi moved that LEAVE be granted for the governor’s departure with a citation of National Anthem that led to the adjournment.
A Leading Guber aspirant in the state , Chief Akuatuegwu Charles Orie was sighted in the plenary as ably represented by a Former House member of Ohaji Egbema State constituency in the person of Hon Emma Orie and entourage.
State chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) was also sighted in the IMHA chamber alongside His Lordship, Bishop of Egbu Diocese, Rt Rev Okoroafor amongst other clergy and notable Imolites.
The plenary featured, Creme de la creme of notable politicians, top government functionaries, past and serving government officials, clergy, state executive council members, elites and luminaries including wide range of supporters, stakeholders and APC party adherents in attendance.
