Our attention has been drawn to a publication where some mischief makers claimed that Hon.Atuleqwu admonished owerri west people to vote for any party of their choice.
The said publication is not only misleading but senseless. For the purpose of informing rightly unsuspecting voters who may be misled by the fictious publication, we may bold to state the fact that Atulegwu is the major campaigner for APC in Owerri West and an ardent and die heart supporter of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
He has matched his words with actions. Just few weeks ago, he singlehandedly organized the mother of all rallies for APC in Owerri West where he galvanized all the leaders in the local government to join the ship of Sen.Hope Uzodimma reelection bid. The rally which had in attendance over ten thousand people living in owerri west was aired by both TVC, Channels, Arise , Orient and other local stations in the state.
It is on record that Hon.Atulegwu has hosted youths and women of Umunwaoha Clan comprising of Irete, Orogwe, Ndegwu, Amakohia Ubi and Ohi where both groups unanimously endorsed Gov.Hope Uzodimma’s reelection bid.
As of today, Atulegwu has visited all the kindreds, villages and hamlets In irete and Umunwaoha preaching the good news of governor Uzodimma.
Everybody in these areas has queued into the Hope Uzodimma’s project irrespective of party affiliations because of the proactiveness of Atulegwu.
According to Atulegwu, he said, “Hope Uzodimma is my party and anywhere he is, that place I am, he is a man that knows the way, I will continue to follow him in my political journey because he is a trust worthy leader”.
Consequently, Atulegwu reiterated that the result of his unalloyed support and loyalty will be seen in the coming days after the election, as his people has vowed to follow him in delivering Hope Uzodimma come 11th.
To this end, we want to urge all imolites especially residents of Owerri West to come out en-mase and vote for APC in tomorrow’s election as that’s the only guarantee for sustainable growth in the state.
