Imo Election: Owerri West Engage Booth Leaders, Party Agents On Voter Education

The Electorates in Owerri West are undergoing series of tactical sensitization on voter education across political parties, Party Agents and Booth Leaders as gathered by our correspondent in Owerri.

The meetings are going on at various Wards and chapters to teach Imo electorates on how to cast their votes on the Saturday November 11 Governorship Election.

At the Local Government Area headquarter in Umuguma Owerri West, the All Progressives Congress APC party Chairman, Hon Humphrey Umunakwe led a technical team of lecturers to educate Booth Leaders on their roles at the upcoming Saturday election.

The booth leaders were drawn from all the polling booths in Owerri West including the party agents respectively.

Speaking, Barr ASOLUKA told the leaders drawn from various polling booths of the expectation of the party on the day of election.

Party agents were charged of the responsibility as directed by the party leadership in the area. The All Progressives Congress APC party agents were told to confirm the process of voting, identify the faults as much as endorse after the election accordingly.

They were also told to avoid violence, obey the INEC Adhoc officials and report any suspected ill play during the process of election.

The LGA All Progressives Congress APC party chairman told the booth agents and booth leaders avoid any act enemical to the success of the election.

Humphrey charged his people to vote en-masse Governor Hope Uzodinma of All Progressives Congress APC party on the election day. He also pleaded with the party representatives at various booths to be very alert and focused.

One of the security expert in the area, Anthony Igirigi requested for an emergency toll line to communicate Incase of any suspicious moves or danger.

Igirigi further told the party and booth leaders to adhere to the rules of election while looking forward the victory song of His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma.

The President General PG Okuku ward, PG Martins adviced all APC faithful including the party agents and both leaders to focus on the ethics of monitoring the election to the last collation center.

Ambassador Onyenwe Princely who breezed into the meeting while on a routine investigative report at the local government area council, told the crowds present at the meeting to support the CHARTER OF EQUITY and vote en-masse Governor Hope Uzodinma to prosper the State and hand over power to Owerri.

In response, the participants lauded the organizers of the voter education and promised to do the needful as told. Hon Clarkson Ekeopara – Chairman of all Chairmen in Owerri West was present to represent his fellow ward Chairmen invited at the sensitization meeting held at LGA council headquarters Umuguma Tuesday.

Other Political parties were spotted seated in the meeting for their show of love of Governor Hope Uzodinma’s second term bid, while promising to vote for APC on Saturday’s Guber election.
