Imo State Government has rolled out the guidelines on the designated roads for one lane and parking rules in the state’s capital city, Owerri.

GUIDELINES

1: TETLOW ROAD
All vehicles shall be parked at the left side of the road (If you are accessing Tetlow road from Bank road or Okigwe park)

2: MBARI ROAD

All vehicles shall be parked at the right side of the road (If you are accessing Mbari road from Okigwe road or Prisons HQ)

3: AJOKU STREET

All vehicles shall be parked at the right side of the road (If you are accessing Ajoku street from Tetlow road or Old Township Stadium)

4: SCHOOL ROAD

All vehicles shall be parked at the Left side of the road (If you are accessing School road from Wethedral road or MCC Wethedral junction)

5: ROYCE ROAD
All vehicles shall be parked at the Left side of the road (If you are accessing Royce road from Douglas road or Ama JK)

6: UMEZURUIKE ROAD
All vehicles shall be parked at the Left side of the road (If you are accessing Umezuruike road from Royce road or NEPA office at Royce road)

7: EDEDE STREET
All vehicles shall be parked at the Right side of the road (If you are accessing Edede street from Royce road)

8: LAGOS STREET
All vehicles shall be parked at the Left side of the road (If you are accessing Lagos street from Tetlow road)

9: OSUJI STREET
All vehicles shall be parked at the Left side of the road (If you are accessing Osuji street from Cherubim junction Wethedral road)

10: ANOKWU STREET
All vehicles shall be parked at the Right side of the road (If you are accessing Anokwu street from Tetlow road)

11: RELIEF MARKET
ROAD
All vehicles shall be parked at the Left side of the road (If you are accessing Relief market from MCC road or Nwaturuocha junction)

12: CHRIST CHURCH
ROAD
All vehicles shall be parked at the Left side of the road (If you are accessing Christ Church road from Wethedral road).

DESIGNATED ONE WAY ROADS IN OWERRI.

1: URATTA STREET
All vehicles shall enter Uratta Street through Wethedral road and non shall access Wethedral road from Uratta Street.

2: SCHOOL ROAD MARKET AXIS.

No vehicle shall access School road market axis from Tetlow. It’s access road is from Christ Church road.

3.ONUMMIRI STREET

No vehicle shall access ONUMMIRI street through Douglas road, rather you will access ONUMMIRI to Douglas road, through ONUMMIRI by Mere street.

4.Access road to Willie Amadi avenue shall be from Egbu road, precisely opposite Fire Service Police Station, no access to Willie Amadi avenue through Wethedral road or Dan Anyiam Stadium Wethedral road.
