A few hours ago, Governor Uzodinma moved swiftly to inspect some Project sites in the state including the major busy NAZE/ IHIAGWA/NEKEDE/ ROAD.
9News Nigeria reports that the Governor also inspected the level of work done on JUNCTION IMPROVEMENT at the Naze/Aba Road Junction, which upon completion, would effectively give a free traffic flow in the area.
However, Governor Uzodimma also inspected the ongoing Ihiagwa Road off Egbu Road, Abiriba Street and the street opening which leads to Egbu Road.
Uzodinma hinted that this construction will further facilitate the linking of the BALLOON DRAINAGE ongoing at Egbu Road down to OTAMIRI as this intends to eradicate flooding along that axis.
Meanwhile, this is in fulfilment of the promise of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma to deliver an outstanding developed city in Imo state.
The on-the-spot inspection of some existing roads and the ongoing reconstruction of streets and drainage will continue to make the contractors speed up to its completion as directed by governor Uzodinma.
He further cautioned contractors to avoid bad work and strengthen efforts to deliver as scheduled.
