EZESHIP tussle in some communities in Imo state has been a thing of outcry by the people of the affected areas and the contestants in the royal battle.
Izombe is one of the areas such a call is in high tune amongst others.
In a chat with 9News Nigeria in Owerri, Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA of Obeabor Izombe in Oguta local government area of Imo state Nigeria expressed his readiness to take over the mantle of EZESHIP in their area.
This call to the service of the people of Obeabor Oguta was a unanimous agreement by the majority of the people of the area who have seen the wonderful antecedents that beclouds Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA who they said is second to none.
Speaking with the press, it was revealed to us that since the demise of the former traditional ruler, Late Eze Dr. Oliver Okorowu on the 3rd day of April in the year 2018 till date,no one has assumed the traditional stool to replace him.
This has in no doubt affected the development and progress of the community in the area where they said have a lot of natural resources to include raw Oil and Gas flowing like the biblical honey in Izombe, Oguta/Ohaji/Egbema area.
Besides, the traditional prime minister of the area, Late Chief Jonathan Ogbonna was in working harmony with Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA while he was the community government council CGC secretary in the area.
Even as at the time of this report, the leaders and President General of Obeabor Oguta spoke good of this promising Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA, that stimulated them to call him to take over the throne to close the leadership lacuna from the present position as Eze-Elect to the confirmed EZE of Obeabor community.
In a letter of introduction of Igwe BENJAMINE NNAOMA OBIOHA to His Excellency Governor Uzodinma by the Chief of staff-H.E/National Chairman (CTC), Abdullahi Yusuf Gashu’a explain the bilateral relationship the Eze-Elect has with the powers that be both in APC and the traditional stool in Imo state.
Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA have served both in his immediate autonomous community, Imo state and the Northern dynasty to mention but a few.
Recently, Igwe Benjamin OBIOHA is a member of extraordinary caretaker committee, office of the chief of staff to the chairman APC National secretariat headquarter ABUJA NIGERIA. This has endowed him with contacts and well-with-all to serve his autonomous community and bring the needed growth in Obeabor Oguta LGA.
Recall that Obeabor community, Umunwama, Ndiuloukwu and Aboshi are four different autonomous communities in Izombe Oguta.
Meanwhile, Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA has so far gone through the processes of confirmation and observed the protocols thereto which included, presentation, clarification from the department of state security DSS, state Chieftaincy department and has obtained the EZESHIP official form from the office of the house committee on Chieftaincy and Autonomous community oversight on selection process for replacement of bereaved traditional ruler, Imo state house of Assembly with reference number IMHA/LRAC/A035.
While awaiting the official declaration of his EZESHIP, Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA has been of great help to his people where he said has impacted alot on humanity.
Over there in Abuja, Igwe BENJAMINE NNAOMA OBIOHA is a founding member of APC political party. He was in the internal caucus of presidential support committee Buhari 2019; Cordinator, Imo Niger Delta group 2019; Buhari Die-Hard support group and alot of recommendations from APC National body and the Presidency.
Backhome, in Oguta local government area, Igwe BENJAMINE OBIOHA have served in various capacities to include, Obeabor Town Union President 2011-2014. CGC secretary under Hon. Chief Henry Nwauwa Igbomezie and Under Lady M.A Amah and under commissioner Ugochi Nnanna Okoro respectively.
IGWE BENJAMINE OBIOHA was also a second time elected President General of Izombe central union care- taker 2016.
By his leadership competence and sagacity Igwe BENJAMINE was appointed the Deputy Youth Cordinator President Campaign group (PSC) till date.
The people of Izombe central union has therefore call on other individuals parading themselves as Eze-Elect in their area to desist forthwith as the only Eze-Elect recognised in Obeabor autonomous community Izombe in Oguta local government area of Imo state is Igwe BENJAMINE NNAOMA OBIOHA.Who they said he is very articulate, development driven, sociable, vibrant, God fearing, government oriented, and younger.
