The Nation reports that Ihedioha’s lawyer, Kanu Agabi, said Governor Hope Uzodinma and the APC, the respondents, just served them some documents before the court sat.

Damian Dodo who is the lawyer to Uzodinma and the APC admitted serving Ihedioha’s lawyer the documents but objected to another adjournment.
The Independent National Electoral Commission’s lawyer, Tanimu Inuwa, also objected to another adjournment.
However, the court acceded to Agabi’s request and adjourned till March 3 for hearing.
Earlier, Legit.n g reported that Ihedioha had reacted to reports claiming that he was planning to withdraw his application for review of the Supreme Court verdict.
The sacked governor, through his campaign DG, Vin Udokwu, said on Thursday, February 27, that the reports are false.
He described the reports as rumour, cheap propaganda and mother of all lies.
The PDP had also a ccused the APC of mounting pressure on the Supreme Court not to reverse its verdict on the Imo governorship election petition.
The opposition party in a statement on Wednesday, February 26, by its spokesman Kola Ologbondiyan, said the judgement was flawed and that it contained “obvious mistakes” that capable of threatening the stability of the nation.
The party said its own application for the review was to assist the Supreme Court in correcting the inherent mistakes in the judgment, which it said, came as a result of the misleading presentation to the court by the APC.
It said the APC’s call for a review of the Supreme Court’s judgments on the Bayelsa and Zamfara governorship elections was to cause confusion and blackmail the court from treating the Imo case on merit.
In another report, Governor Uzodimma visited President Muhammadu Buhari requesting a refund of state funds spent in building federal roads in the state.
The governor while briefing the State House correspondents after the private meeting with the president, said Imo is in financial distress and that the refunded money would help with the payment of pensions and salary arrears.
The governor said the amount to be refunded was still being computed, adding that at the moment the figure they are hoping for a refund of is about N32 billion.
