Imo Lands Ministry Visits Shared Prosperity Estate Nekede, Approved Work Done- Sets To Allocate Authorized Papers

Imo Lands Ministry, Survey and Physical Planning has applauded contractors handling the clearing of Nekede Land located along Owerri PortHarcourt road for a work well done.

The visit was led by the director of lands who toured round the site to ascertain the level of work so far done.

Accompanied by Surveyor General of Imo State, Directors of Lands, Town Planning, Administration and Finance, the team took their time to identify all the points and was delighted by the wok done.

Other crew that was present at the inspection was , the Accounts head, Head of various affiliates departments (Hods) and staff of the ministry of lands.

The team was taken round the site by Surveyor Odeh alongside all the contractors and the inspection team.

9News Nigeria Owerri reports that the contractors handling the land earth clearing were eight in numbers as identified one after the other at the site.

The Nekede Farm Land now known as Shared Prosperity Estate Nekede will definitely attract development in the area and possibly upgrade the selling cost of the said land as gazetted.

Speaking at the site, the inspection team unanimously approved the work so far done and promised the people of immediate beaconing, polarisation and issuance of allocation papers according.

The lead contractor of the contractors on site, Estate Surveyor Lister Okpe, thanked the ministry for approving their work done.

He added that the earth clearing work took them months to accomplish. The work was not just a mere jamboree but efforts invested in hard work and service delivery.

He however thanked the Lands Ministry for engaging them to do the work for their people while appreciating the immediate response of Governor Hope Uzodinma to open up the versed area of land.

The inspection team pointed out that the illegal dredging within the Shared Prosperity Estate have to stop henceforth to avoid further degradation of land and possible collapse of buildings in the regional plan.

The inspection took the team barely two hours to tour round the versed site to capture the entire points and identify remaining few red areas.

Another grey point of note by our correspodent who covered the inspection work is the complaint by the AUTHENTIC FACILITATORS who toiled day and night to move the work fast and also protected the earth moving equipments on site are yet-to-be captured and compensated alongside the beneficiaries of the work done.

The remaining cart away will be completed by this weekend as instructed by the inspection team. This will precede the issuance of authentic allocation papers to the respective land owners as approved by the state Government through the Ministry of Lands, survey and planning.
