Family announces funeral arrangements for deceased community figure who died at 55.

The family of the late Ezidi John Kemakolam Enerenwa has announced the funeral arrangements for their patriarch, who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 55.
According to a statement issued by the family, the deceased hailed from Umuagwu Umudoche, Umuoma Nekede, in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.
The funeral ceremonies are scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2026, with relatives, friends, church members and well-wishers expected to gather to pay their final respects.
The body will depart Ascension Mortuary, Agbala, at 7:00 a.m. for his hometown of Umuagwu Umudoche, Umuoma Nekede.
By 8:00 a.m., the remains will lie in state at his family compound before departing at 11:00 a.m. for a funeral service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Umuoma Nekede.
The family disclosed that interment will take place immediately after the church service at the deceased’s residence.
In the burial announcement, the family described the late Enerenwa as a devoted father, brother, uncle, in-law and friend whose life touched many within and beyond his community.
The burial notice, signed by Mr. John Enerenwa Lucky C. on behalf of the family, expressed gratitude for the support and prayers received since the demise of their loved one and appealed for continued prayers as they bid him farewell.
The funeral is expected to attract family members, friends, associates, church faithful, maternal relatives from Ihiagwa, executive members of Umuoma People’s Assembly UPA, FUTO management and Umuoma Nekede community who will gather to celebrate his life and legacy.
Late John Enerenwa served as secretary Umuoma People’s Assembly, secretary Denaagwu Town, devoted member of the revered Holy Trinity Anglican Communion Nekede and Non academic staff of FUTO Imo state.
Left behind are his progressive son John Enerenwa Lucky and daughter Nancy including his siblings.
May the soul of the late Ezidi John Kemakolam Enerenwa rest in perfect peace. Amen.
