Past and present members of the Imo State House of Assembly gathered to honor the memory of their departed colleague, Hon. Prince Barth Obi.
The session, held on Thursday, November 27, in Owerri, brought together lawmakers across generations, including former Speaker Ike C. Ibe, who served alongside Obi in the 3rd Assembly between January 1991 and November 1993.
Obi represented the old Owerri LGA.
Speaking during the event, Ibe reflected on their years of service together and the late legislator’s commitment to public duty.
He extended prayers for Obi and other departed lawmakers, saying: “May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.”
