Imo: Gearing to the official swearing -in of the Newly elected Government officials, the post election activities has continued to spread across the states of the Federation.
Meanwhile, INEC has continued the issuance of certificate of return to the winners of the just concluded House of Assembly Election, Federal House of representatives, Senate and governors in their deserving sequence as scheduled by law.
In Imo state, Rt. Honourable Kanayo Onyemaechi- Egbe Eji Eje Ogu was issued a certificate of return Thursday by Independent National Electoral Commission INEC as proscribed by law.
Recall that Kanayo Onyemaechi won the Imo state House of Assembly Election held on the 18th day of March 2023 having recorded a wide margin against his rival contestants.
The Majority Leader Onyemaechi defeated his People’s Democratic Party PDP candidate, APGA party, Labour Party and other House of Assembly candidates from various Political parties who contested same election for Owerri West state constituency in the IMHA.
While responding to questions filled in by our correspodents, the majority leader Onyemaechi told the people of Owerri West his readiness to consolidate on the gains of the already established work done while targeting to empower more hands in his Constituency.
He added that will have a quality and remarkable representation in the 10th Assembly where he will use his position as a principal officer to attract good policies to make his area better.
He however thanked the Imo state government under Governor Hope Uzodinma for his expression of love to Owerri West through his cordial relationship and the All Progressives Congress APC party for coming out en-masse to vote for him.
Kanayo Onyemaechi issuance of certificate of return was accepted in admiration and hearty cheers witnessed by all and sundry at the event.
Thursday, 30th, March, 2023 will was the day Kanayo Onyemaechi received his Certificate Of Returns From INEC likewise other contested fellows who won from various local government areas of Imo state Nigeria.
” I take my victory back to God because He is the one that gave me victory in the keenly contested election. I thank my good people of Owerri West. Governor Hope is a man destined to rule Imo, we will support him to continue in his good works. ” Kanayo Onyemaechi hinted.
