Engr. Chukwu who moved swiftly to avert building collapse called out the students living in the hostel to relocate to avoid endangering their lives and properties, stressing that the Imo State Government under the leadership of Gov. Hope Uzodimma attaches priority attention to ensuring that Imolites are well protected from unforseen circumstances hence the need for the proactiveness in the implementation of the policies and programmes of the Government.

One of the resident students who spoke on condition of anonymity, stressed that it will be hard for them to relocate to another hostel, pointing out that they’ve already paid their rent,as they expressed worry and called for assistance.
