GLOBAL ASSOCIATION OF CONCERNED IMO YOUTHS (GACIY), has lambasted PDP over their ill-fated insult on the association as regards the exposition of IHEDIOHA’s closet to the public.
In a release signed by Collins Ughalaa KSC (Convener) on October 24, 2021, and made available to 9News Nigeria, GACIY is utterly disappointed at the abrasive manner with which the PDP is handling the revelation of a N3.5billion loan hurriedly obtained in Sept 2019 by the ousted Ihedioha regime for which no accounting has been rendered to Imo people till today.
“The PDP has taken to raining insults on GACIY, the patriotic organization behind the exposé, going to such tragic lengths as to even speculate that the group does not exist forgetting that this old tactic of denying what it cannot comprehend and therefore not control, is outdated.
We remind the party that it was this same haughtiness that turned Emeka deaf to entreaties, forewarning and godly counsel until the gavel fell and crushed his fragile ego.
At the very least, Imo people deserve credible explanations and profuse apologies from Emeka and his PDP. This is neither too much to ask, nor does it call for bad blood and name-calling.
Moreover, the N3.5bn unaccounted secret loan is just a shinbone from the creepy skeleton in Emeka’s dark closet. If the party is foaming at the mouth over this singular reveal, we wonder what resort it would seek when the entire skeleton is dragged from the closet to see the light of day.
GACIY is not interested in the wailings or tantrums from that party, our interest in this matter is strictly accountability, probity, truth, fairness and justice. It is time the PDP walked the talk.
