The newest majority leader of Imo State House of Assembly Hon. Kanayo ONYEMAECHI took over from the popular Mbaike born UCHE OGBUAGU who was voted out from the statehouse a few days ago.
Information gathered by 9News Nigeria was a true revelation of the actual position in the state house.
Recall that we reported the first hand news about the passing out of the former majority leader UCHE OGBUAGU and announced the emergence of a likely new majority leader in the person of Hon. ONYEMAECHI.
This revelation later came to bare and today the people of Imo state en-masse have continued to celebrate this new political mystreo because of his uninterrupted emergency as the new majority leader of the state house of Assembly.
Recall that the majority leader was the facilitator of the Naze/Nekede/Ihiagwa/ Obinze road by his cordial relationship with the people’s governor of Imo state, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma.
By his little appearances in the state house, he was able to affect the people of his constituency by the number of bills that came through him.
Unlike the old days of Owerri west, when the people was not fully represented and seen working in the house, the era of Dele has changed the tempo of people’s representation to a positive narrative.
Record has it that this positive narrative he has examplified in his constituency is second to none. It is the wish of his constituents to see him go more higher in his political sojourn.
