This a well dished out article credited to the opinion’s view as published. It is a hot read for all our readers all over the globe:

Read Dr Paul Ezeafurukwe:

Yesterday was supposed to be a day of statement making for Imo PDP, a day all the party stakeholders were supposed to come together to show Imolites how serious and determined they are, about the pretence to take over the from the performing Governor of Imo state, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. However what seems to be an epoc making event turned out to be a shameful outing.

Could it be a deliberate protest against the evil metted on Emeka Ihedioha by Sam daddy and his likes ?

Could it be a well orchestrated plan from the heavy weights in Imo PDP to expressively show Ndi-Imo that the said PDP governorship candidate is rejected from all angles?

This election would have been a serious one with the likes of Emeka Ihedioha on the ballot flying the PDP ticket, however due to the mischievous and dubious nature of Sam daddy, Emeka could not even go to the poll with him.

For a man who claimed to be a guber candidate to also remain the secretary of the party at the national level shows how unserious the election is to him. He already knows that he won’t even come distant 5th in the election hence his firm grip on the party’s scribe position even against the party’s constitution. Anyways, let’s leave that topic for another day.

In what was described as a shameful outing, the outright rejection of Sen Samuel Anyanwu and Hon Jones Onyereri by their party’s top echelon is a clear sign that Imo State PDP has hit a brick wall as long as the November 11th election is concerned.

How can key stakeholders of an opposition party and top echelon of it’s campaign council be conspicuously absent from such important outings like the launch of their gubernatorial campaign and some of the party’s paid media jobbers are making excuses?

No excuse will suffice to justify their absence. It simply constitutes a red flag to PDP’s participation in the forthcoming Gubernatorial contest.

The party is in total disarray as the center can no longer hold, in the wake of key stakeholders of the party leaving, daily, in droves!

The State Chairman, Elder Ugwu is merely buying time and will abandon the party at the eleventh hour. That will be the last straw that will break the Camel’s back! PDP already died of natural causes, in Imo State!

Indeed the killing of Abel never made Cain a king rather it rendered him useless and rejected by God and man. Cain’s mark, following the curse on him, made people flee from him. In the same vein, Sam daddy has been totally and completely rejected by both his party leaders and Imolites in general.

Dr Ezeafurukwe Paul Ihunanya
