Concerning the resurfaced IMO CHARTER OF EQUITY as embedded into law of Imo state Nigeria, more groups, corporate bodies , international organizations and individuals are aligning heavily to the actualisation of this long waited project.

Having re-surfaced and backed up by a state law on the agreement reached by the Imo Elders’ council , Imo state government under Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration and that of the state house of Assembly, owerri zone are hopefully warming up to take over power at the end of Governor Uzodinma’s second term which has started running already as 9News Nigeria reports.

it is a great addition to the unwavering efforts of the shared prosperity administration of His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma CON. It has to be commended and not to be fought against.

The CHARTER OF EQUITY support group are solidly behind the success of the application of this law to action and by so doing the jinx of Governance will be broken to allow the seat of Governorship rotate across the zones.

Unarguably, Imo charter of equity is a sure way to political prosperity and grassroot governance. It has to be supported without any prejudice or rancour because the Governorship wagon has remained domiciled in Orlu zone. Owerri and Okigwe will take their equal shares then Orlu in that order as embedded into law.

Another heavyweight crusader and politician in Imo state, Dr Ugwo CYC (KSM) who resides in New Owerri has added his voice to support firmly the CHARTER OF EQUITY and the government of His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma to actualizing this noble feat.

In his words, “We must bear in mind that Imo Charter of Equity is Sacrosanct. And Owerri zone have the call. Irrespective of the interest of anyone.

“I have been seeing the reaction of Some Political miscreants who have trying to make some useless comments. We are aware that some sets of people have benefited from the Former system of Governance in the state. But I want to assure Imolites that there will be no road for those miscreants come 2028 Guber Election in the state.

He added that, there will not be any other arrangements except the already agreement by Imo State Elders council.

“It is certainly that no person or group of persons are wiser than this agreement. And I want to remind us that the members of the Elders council were drawn from 27 Local government of In State.

“And the Imo Youths are tired of Disunity among Imolites over Governance. The Youths will stand on the Plain of Equity come 2028. Every political party will alien with Charter of Equity. –Dr Ugwo CYC (KSM) spoke to our correspodent from first Avenue Capitol Estate New Owerri Imo state Nigeria.
