Inherited A Failed State, No Handover Documents, Says Gov Uzodimma

Governor of Imo State Hope Uzodimma has stressed that his administration inherited a failed state on the assumption of office.

The governor asserted in a broadcast in Owerri to celebrate his three years in office.
According to him, no document was handed over to him by the previous administration of Hon Emeka Ihedioha.

The governor highlighted that the challenges encountered in the early days of the administration were daunting, but not insurmountable.

Uzodimma stressed that despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and insecurity which he stated, was politically motivated, the administration in 36 months had recorded unprecedented and monumental achievements.

He stated that he inherited a failed road network but had been able to construct numerous quality roads which had attracted the presence of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state twice.
