There is panic in Owerri, Imo state following a sudden attack on Imo state police headquarters after a long time gun feud and prison break that took place same time on the late hours of Easter Sunday.
The cause of the break is yet to be confirmed as the Public relation department and the police PPRO is yet to release an official statement.
It is as if there is demonstration of war and show of people by these hoodlums and if they succeed the entire South East will be a mess.
The world power may also come in to stampede the looming war and this if care is not taken will lead to another civil war.
Both PRO’S are yet to speak to the press as at the time of this report, while some individuals are pointing fingers at the ESN and IPOB to be the master-minds of such unwarranted attacks that is setting the state in security tension.
Information released to us was that the inmates scaled through the fence of the prison and disappeared.
In the same vein police headquarters Imo state was set ablaze probably by the same Hoodlums.
Meanwhile, a staff of the Federal Prison, Owerri said inmates serving jail terms scaled the fence of the facility and made an escape.
“Their escape has caused serious panic in the prison. There are fears that heads will roll if the convicts are not found.
But seeing the look of things as it stands, the inmates are in serious danger while these hoodlums maybe joistling for more attacks as speculated.
