The persistent killing of law enforcement officers while on official duty has continued to becoming a norm in this clime.
The reason is what the public is yet to understand while investigations are on to grab the killers.
In Ihuoma orlu Imo state, police officer on duty was trapped by mob action suspected to be the youths of the community who in the process of the misundersting with the policemen on duty killed one of personnel yet to be confirmed by the police command in Imo.
A chat with 9News Nigeria revealed the possible cause of the killing as transfered aggression by the mod who has asked the police to stop arrest in their area which surmounts to taking laws into there hands.
At Umutanzi orlu Imo state same incident took place few days ago where an unknown mob killed two officers on duty.
Information revealed to the press was that the bodies of these police officers where found at the point of decomposition in a gully within orlu area.
Since then people have been wondering the possible causes while investigation is still on.
A call to the Divisional police command proved abortive at the time of this report.
