Nollywood actor and Politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has advised former President Goodluck Jonathan not to contemplate contesting for the presidency in 2027.

Okonkwo, who made the remarks while speaking on Jonathan’s political prospects on Friday, warned that the same forces that nearly tarnished the former president’s image when they were outside power are now in control of the country.

According to him, any attempt by Jonathan to re-enter the race could expose him to fresh political attacks capable of dragging his name further into the mud.

“The same forces that nearly destroyed his name when they were not in power are now in power; they will take his name to the toilet,” Okonkwo cautioned.

Jonathan, who governed Nigeria from 2010 to 2015, has faced recurring speculation about a possible comeback since leaving office.
