Chief Ebenezer Babatope, a former Minister of Transport on Tuesday said former President Goodluck Jonathan will regret working for the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded governorship election in Bayelsa state against his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking with Journalists, Babatope also faulted those calling for the resignation of Prince Uche Secondus over the party’s loss in Kogi and Bayelsa, saying the APC shamelessly manipulated the elections.
” I hope it is not true that former president Goodluck Jonathan worked against the party in Bayelsa. If he did so, I’m sure that he is going to regret it” he said.
David Lyon of the APC was declared as the governor-elect after defeating Sen. Douye Diri of the PDP.
