Jos: Plateau Women In Their Hundreds Staged Road Protest, Demanding Justice For Governor Mutfwang Ahead Of Appeal Court Judgement On Governorship Election

Plateau women mostly elderly in their hundreds on Wednesday staged road protest in Jos the capital city of Plateau state, demanding justice for Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang ahead of this week Court of Appeal judgement on the State Governorship Election tussle between Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshe of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in the 2023 general election.

The women defied the cold weather on Wednesday in Jos to storm the popular Secretariat Junction Flyover in Jos, demanding for justice for the governor and 16 House of Assembly members whose case are pending for determination before the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.

The women were seen engaging in peaceful demonstration, all dressed in black attires and holding fresh green leaves, singing and chanting, calling on the Court of Appeal to ensure that Justice is served in the case of Governor Caleb Mutfwang and the APC Governor candidate, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshe.
