Having initiated constituency farming as the most effective economic panacea to the deadly Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world, Hon Phillip Okey Igwe, the member representing Umunneochi State Constituency in the ABHA and House Committee Chairman on Agriculture has renewed his call on all Umunneochi households to endeavor to get back to land this farming season in preparation for the coming harsher times.
9news Nigeria gathered that to support this effort, Hon. Barr Igwe gave out fertilizers to all serious farmers in Umunneochi today, Saturday 30th May 2020 at the Council headquarters.
Additionally, PPE materials were shared in continuation of support for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu fight against the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
Many dignitaries that graced the occasion include, all ndi Eze in Umunneochi, community leaders, the 19 ward Chrisnak Friend’s Club (CFC) Coordinators, Youth Leaders and Woman Leaders.
The people expressed overwhelming joy and prayed to God that the kind gesture will continue.
Also, in further effort to provide additional palliative materials to Ndi Umunneochi to combat COVID-19 -induced hunger,
