President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from Accra, Ghana, where he witnessed the inauguration of the country’s new President, John Dramani Mahama.
At the event, President Tinubu sought for stronger unity on the Continent, adding that he would work with Ghana’s new President to realise the dreams of the founding fathers of both countries.
President Tinubu gave the assurance that sister nations of Africa would not harm each other even when entangled in complicated webs of disagreements.
The President said they would also never harm each other nor allow any outsider to hurt them nor disrupt their unity.
He said with laser focus, ECOWAS could tackle the problems of the subregion, including poverty, youth unemployment, instability, insurgence, and other sundry problems hampering their desired progress.
President Tinubu spent the Christmas vacation in Lagos, commissioned some projects in Anambra State before leaving Lagos for Ghana for the inauguration of Ghana’s new President, John Dramani Mahama.
