Prof. Babagana Gutti has been appointmented as the new Vice Chancellor, Borno State University (BSU).
The announcement was made today Friday.
Prof. Gutti succeeds Prof. Haruna Dlakwa, who held the position in an acting capacity following the tenure of Prof. Umar Kyari Sandabe, the university’s first substantive Vice Chancellor.
Prof. Gutti is a professor of engineering at the University of Maiduguri.
Prof. Gutti’s tenure will focus on initiatives to enhance the institution.
