A marriage solemnization slated yesterday Saturday 20th November 2021 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Tera-Ama, by Church Road, after Fimie Junction, Along Abuloma Road, Port Harcourt was called off by the bride on grounds of deceit.
The bride, Chiamaka Elizabeth James took to her Facebook page to cancel the wedding alleging that the would-have-been husband Mr. Sunday Ishaku is married with children.
Having taken cognizance of Ishaku alleged deceit, Chiamaka went to her Facebook wall and alerted invitees, friends and the public to stay off of the planned wedding on this tone:
“Dear friends,
THE WEDDING IS CANCELLED”
“I have decided to call off the wedding slated for this morning because I discovered that the man I intended to marry is already married with children”.
“I am pained and I wish to sincerely apologise for whatever inconvenience this may cause especially those who may be coming into town from far away. I won’t be able to receive calls at the moment, or respond to questions and comments as I will be offline for a while to clear my head, but you can reach me via SMS at +2348123597112”.
