Regardless the recent killing of 43 rice farmers in Borno State, daily banditry kidnapping in Zamfara, katsina and amidst the chaotic situation and daily breakdown of laws and order in Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has been acknowledged as Grand Patron of Peace in Nigeria.
Femi Adesina, Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity broke the news from his official Facebook page monitored by 9news Nigeria.
Adesina who received the award on behalf of the President posted this in officials timeline:
