President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with parents, relations and friends of Ojodu Grammar School students who lost their lives in an accident on Tuesday, along Isheri Road, Ojodu, in Lagos State.
In a statement on Wednesday by Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Buhari condoles with the Government and people of Lagos State and the authorities of Ojodu Grammar School over the sad and painful loss of the promising lives that were cut short in the tragic incident.
The Nigerian leader prays that the Almighty God will comfort the grieving parents and relations at this very difficult time, and grant the injured quick recovery.
It was reported on Tuesday that there was pandemonium at Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos when a truck crushed four students crossing the road to death.
The incident which occurred at Grammar School Bus Stop on Tuesday afternoon led to protests as students of Babs Fafunwa Millennium School and some hoodlums went on rampage attacking policemen with stones and destroying some vehicles.
Many injured in the accident were taken to different hospitals, while the truck driver has been arrested.
