News reaching 9News Nigeria right now has it that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), pastor Enoch Adeboye has paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock today, Monday 31st August 2020.
While in a meeting, pastor Adeboye and president Buhari had some discussions on issues that were not yet officially made known to the press as at time of this report.
However, there is high speculations that the object of their discussion was not unconnected to the CAMA legislation that the government is introducing in order to check and balance the activities of clergymen and religious leaders in the country.
9News Nigeria gathered that Pastor Adeboye had met with the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo before proceeding to have a meeting with president Buhari on Monday.
9News Nigeria will update the public on the further details of the RCCG General Overseer’s meeting with president Buhari as soon as possible.
