Dr. Chike .J. Akunyili will be Buried on the 25th day of November 2021, at his hometown, Agulu in Anambra State.
He was the best Surgeon in Enugu State where he was based, he died in the hands of Unknown gunmen at Nkpor Junction on that hot afternoon, on his way back to Enugu, after receiving a posthumous award on behalf of his late Wife, Dora Akunyili.

Chief Akunyili was not a Politician neither is he an activist or a critic of Nnamdi Kanu and Abaribe. His only crime was leaving Enugu for Anambra to collect an award in respect of his late Wife.
Well, in weeks time, Chief Akunyili will be laid to rest right beside his wife.
